Interview with Hervé, National Systems Manager
What was your background before joining Eurofeu?
"Before Eurofeu, I started out as an electrician and assistant site manager with CEGELEC. Then I joined ATSE-CHUBB, where I held a number of different positions, including after-sales service manager. I decided to leave ATSE-CHUBB and join the Eurofeu group, joining my former manager who had joined the group 1 year earlier and who enabled me to experience the above-mentioned development."
What has been your career path at Eurofeu? What is your current position?
"12 years ago, I started out as Branch Manager in Nantes for two and a half years. I then became Systems Manager for the West of France for 5 years, then National Fire Detection Manager. I was recently appointed National Systems Manager.
In your opinion, what are the values and qualities needed to do your job?
"I'd say that the values that would suit me best would be fairness and loyalty. In a professional context, it's also the human value that has to be present when you're passing on your knowledge. To achieve a career path like mine, there are several qualities to put forward, such as being curious, being consistent in one's work, learning from one's mistakes, but also adapting easily to one's environment."
