Petanque tournament at the Senonches head office: A moment of conviviality and victory! Back Next On October 4, 2024, Eurofeu's head office in Senonches came alive with a sporting event full of good humor and camaraderie. The Events Committee organized a pétanque tournament which brought together a large number of employees, ready to compete in a warm and festive atmosphere. Throughout the day, teams battled it out in an energetic competition, punctuated by laughter and encouragement. The tournament served to strengthen the bonds between employees, while sharing well-deserved moments of relaxation. And the big winners were... After some tight, exciting games, we celebrated the prize-giving ceremony with some delicious pastries. In this month of pink October, we want to play an active part in raising awareness of the fight against breast cancer. This battle, which affects nearly 62,000 women in France every year, requires collective mobilization and awareness of the importance of prevention and screening. Step 1: Learn to monitor your breasts Self-monitoring is a key gesture for detecting any abnormality as early as possible. We encourage every woman to get into the habit of examining herself once a month. It's a simple but crucial gesture, which allows you to get to know your breasts and react quickly if anything seems unusual. However, it's important to remember that this self-examination does not replace regular consultations with health professionals such as your doctor, gynecologist or midwife. These medical visits remain essential for a complete and effective follow-up. Step 2: Screening Breast cancer screening is a crucial step. Detected at an early stage, cancer is easier to treat, and the chances of recovery increase considerably. We encourage all women aged 50 and over to take part in the national organized screening program. For those with risk factors, appropriate follow-up care should be initiated at an earlier stage. It's essential to be informed, to talk about it and not to neglect this regular medical follow-up. Together, by being vigilant, we can take effective action against breast cancer. New actions will be implemented to improve support for these employees and reinforce our social responsibility. 🤝 Partner of the Progress Activator Network We have also joined the network of 13,000 companies sharing the values of inclusion and integration of people with disabilities.
