Who we are

Under the impetus of Nicole and Michel Lahouati, Eurofeu - a fire equipment trading company - is founded. The company is based at their home in La Motte - Le Mesnil-Thomas (28), on a 150 m² site.

Eurofeu becomes Eurofeu SAS, and moves into larger premises (400 m²) again in Le Mesnil-Thomas. Creation of the Eurosignal brand (manufacture of displays and plans).

The first extinguisher was created in 1981 in Mesnil-Thomas, in a new 1500 m² workshop. The Eurofeu group went on to develop its own range of extinguishers of all types and capacities.

Creation of a network dedicated to small businesses.

Eurofeu integrates its supplier of fire extinguisher stamps, Chevalier Bertrand. The 4,500m² premises are located in Moulins (03000).

ISO 9001 certification for the production unit. This replaces RAQ-3.

To meet the growing demand for training in fire, evacuation, workplace safety, chemical hazards, etc., Eurofeu has set up its own training department. Eurofeu has set up its own training department.

The Eurofeu Group's plant and headquarters move to the 7.86-hectare La Forêt industrial site. The site comprises 21,500 m² of factory and warehouse space and 1,600 m² of office space.

A new turning point for the group with the merger of several regional entities and the creation of Eurofeu Services, a network dedicated to direct national sales of fire safety products and services.

Validation of stage 1 of the ISO 14001 standard.

Eurofeu is the 1st fire extinguisher manufacturer to be awarded the"ORIGINE FRANCE GARANTIE" label.

In 2020, Michel LAHOUATI reduced his shareholding and the presidency of the Eurofeu group was handed over to Eric HENTGES with the support of the French investment fund CAPZA.
A new acquisition strategy is put in place with the purchase of companies such as LIS, VPI, Isogard...

Eurofeu is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and to mark the occasion the Group's entire graphic charter has been renewed.

In July, AMI2S joined the Group, bringing its SSI expertise.

Capza reduces its stake and IK Partners becomes majority shareholder.
