Where can I find the expiration date of an extinguisher?
Manufacturer's label :
- Most extinguishers have a label or nameplate glued to the body of the extinguisher. This label contains important information such as the date of manufacture, the date of the last extinguisher inspection, and sometimes the expiration date.
Marking on extinguisher body :
- On some models, the expiration date may be directly stamped or printed on the body of the extinguisher, often near the handle or at the base.
Maintenance booklet :
- The extinguisher may be accompanied by a service log or maintenance register. This booklet contains the dates of inspections and maintenance carried out, and the deadline for overhaul or replacement.
