These systems are recommended for the protection of strategic company premises, particularly those containing valuable equipment, or those which could jeopardize operations in the event of downtime. Maintenance and periodic inspections of these systems are mandatory to ensure their longevity and proper operation.

What does IEAG maintenance involve? 

Maintenance operations include

  • A documentary review of the construction file
  • A visual inspection of the IEAG
  • IEAG functional tests every 6 months
  • Checking the integrity of the premises with an infiltrometer once a year
  • Ten-yearly requalification of pressure vessels in accordance with EU Directive 2010/35. (or if tank impact > 5 years).
  • Drawing up a maintenance report.
  • Drawing up an estimate for any repairs required
  • Reporting Q13.
